AUM

Is it AUM or OM?

.

Traditionally, the seed sound AUM is the full, more detailed mantra, while OM is its shorter, simplified version. Both are deeply spiritual, but AUM carries a broader cosmological and philosophical depth. AUM represents the entire cycle of existence, from creation to dissolution, and is believed to encompass the past, present, and future. It is often considered a more holistic and nuanced representation of the divine.

Power of Aum

At the Breathe and Bloom event on 7th June 2025

Sutton Coldfield, UK

Aum chanting combined with the didgeridoo creates a unique and powerful auditory experience that blends ancient spiritual practices with indigenous Australian musical traditions.

When paired with the didgeridoo, a wind instrument that traditionally produces deep, resonant tones, the vibrational energy of Om complements the meditative experience.

This fusion promotes a heightened state of relaxation and mindfulness, as the continuous drone of the didgeridoo can deepen one's meditative state, helping to synchronise body and mind.
