Safety Information & Contraindications
Your Safety & Wellbeing
Your safety and well-being are our highest priority.
Breathwork, Qi gong, sound healing, meditation, and mindfulness practices can be deeply restorative, transformational, and supportive for emotional and physical well-being. However, some practices — particularly intensive breathwork — may not be suitable for everyone.
Please read the following information carefully before booking or attending any session, class, workshop, retreat, or event.
About These Practices
Breathwork
Breathwork can be a powerful somatic and nervous system practice that may involve emotional, physical, or energetic release. Some techniques intentionally alter breathing patterns and may create intense physical or emotional experiences.
Qi Gong
Qi gong is generally a gentle movement and energy cultivation practice designed to support grounding, balance, mobility, relaxation, and vitality.
Sound Healing
Sound healing uses sound frequencies, vibration, and immersive sound experiences to encourage relaxation, nervous system regulation, and emotional restoration.
Meditation & Mindfulness
Meditation and mindfulness practices support awareness, emotional regulation, stress reduction, nervous system balance, and present-moment connection.
When Participation May Not Be Suitable
Participation in certain practices — especially intensive breathwork sessions — may not be appropriate if you currently have, or have recently experienced, any of the following conditions.
Pregnancy
Intensive breathwork sessions are not recommended during pregnancy due to changes in breathing, blood pressure, circulation, and nervous system regulation.
Gentle meditation, mindfulness, sound healing, or modified qi gong practices may be suitable with professional guidance.
